Islamic leaders condemn Turkey attack

The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has strongly condemned the ‘heinous’ terrorist attack perpetrated against the Aktutun Turkish military post near the Turkish-Iraqi border on October 3 by the terrorist organization PKK.
The OIC Secretary General expressed his ‘solidarity’ with the Government of the Republic of Turkey and its people, in their fight against terrorism and sent his condolences and sympathies to the families of the deceased 15 Turkish soldiers who were reportedly killed as a result of the usage of heavy weapons by the PKK terrorists from within Iraqi territory.
The Secretary General expressed his particular concern that the outlawed terrorist organization continues its deadly attacks by infiltrating into Turkey from their camps in Northern Iraq and called for the continued cooperation between the governments of Turkey and Iraq, ‘two brotherly and (...)
