London to host 2nd int`l confab on religious affinity

Second International Seminar on affinity among the Islamic religions titled 'Affinity Helps Defend Quran and Prophet (PBUH)' will be held in London by British Islamic Center.

According to IRNA, the event will be attended by Muslim scholars from Iran, Britain, France, Egypt, Pakistan and Bosni-Herzegowina.

Topics for discussion at the one-day event include the ways for strengthening unity among the Muslims to defend Islamic principles, unity of religions in the wake of respecting the messengers, monotheism and religious commonalities, Muslims approach for defending Quran and Prophet (PBUH) as well as Quran and Prophet basic commonalities of Muslims.

First round of the event was held last year with the participation of Sunni and Shiite scholars.
