Muslims predict moral climate in Russia will deteriorate

Moscow - Renowned Russian Islamic leader does not expect rapid positive results of reforms in the Interior Ministry and fears moral level in the country will deteriorate in the coming years.

"Unfortunately, it will take long years to eliminate the consequences of post-Soviet times of troubles, and technogenic catastrophes will be more frequent as well as moral catastrophes similar to the one happened in Kazan Dalniy Interior Affairs Department," general representative of the North Caucasus Muslim Board in Moscow, head of the Board at the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education Shafig Pshikhachev, told Interfax-Religion.
