Italy: Monti to hold talks with Turkey's Erdogan in Rome

Turkey's prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was due to hold talks Tuesday in Rome with Italian premier Mario Monti, an unnnamed diplomatic source confirmed to Adnkronos International.

The meeting was expected to focus on the unrest in Syria and the situation in the Middle East and to take place during a visit to the Italian capital by Erdogan to sign several bilateral accords including one on security. (...)
