Saudi Arabian 'Got Talent' bans women, singing, dancing

A new Saudi Arabian version of the Got Talent TV format has been launched, which bans women from taking part. Buraidah's Got Talent contestants are also not allowed to sing or dance, with men only able to show off their skills in religious chanting, poetry or sporting prowess in relation to the Koran and Allah.
The official spin-off Arabs Got Talent is seen by millions in the Arab world, and is broadcast on the Dubai-based TV channel MBC4. (...)
