Vandals deface moshav synagogue with Muslim prayer

Muslim writings were graffitied Thursday in the entrance hall of a synagogue in moshav Maor in central Israel. Police have launched an investigation into the vandalism but do not have any suspects.

The Menashe Regional Council’s security officer told Israel’s Channel 10 news that congregants had arrived for evening prayers at the synagogue and discovered the damage.

The graffiti was part of a prayer and read "There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet.” (...)
