Koran studies becoming more popular in Finland

A growing number of Finnish Muslims are joining Koran schools to study their faith, according to Helsinki University Islamic studies professor Jaakko Hämeen-Anttila. While Finland does not have official Islamic theological seminaries, many informal schools are housed at Muslim congregations' premises. While Finnish authorities don't keep tabs on the number of Muslims in the country, Hämeen-Anttila puts the figure at around 40,000.
