Osama bin Laden's driver released from Guantanamo after serving 10 years for aiding terrorism

Osama bin Laden's former driver and bodyguard has been released from Guantanamo Bay Naval Base after spending ten years in the military detention camp. Ibrahim al-Qosi will be sent back to his native Sudan, where he participate in a government reintegration program.

He was released after pleading guilty in 2010 to providing material support for terrorism and cooperating with the government by providing intelligence on al-Qaeda. His 14 year sentence, already a reduced term, was lowered to two years plus the eight he had already served. (...)
