Belgium: Becoming Belgian will be made more difficult

Newspaper Le Soir reports that there may be a deal among the federal majority to make the legislation granting access to Belgian citizenship more severe. A number of 'integration conditions' would be included. The bill has not been voted yet and all details are not revealed yet, but there would be a double procedure: one for people having five years of uninterrupted residence and one for people having ten years of residence in Belgium.
