Video: ''Generation Identitaire'' occupying a mosque in Poitiers - UPDATED!

Poitiers: The French blogger David Eszet (Nonali) has reported that at 9 o'clock this morning about 100 young people, members of the group 'Generation Identitaire'' have occupied the premises of a future mosque in Poitiers and have immediately climbed to the roof. There they have started to sing 'reconquista France' chants. This is visible on the video which was recorded at 11 am.

Statement of "Génération Identitaire"

At the front, in view of the Minaret we are unfolding a banner which contains a clear statement: ''Immigration, building of mosques, REFERENDUM!'' "With this first major action, Génération Identitaire intends to place themselves in the front line of the fight for our identity.

It is almost 1300 years, when Charles Martel stopped the Arabs at Poitiers after a heroic battle that saved our country from the Muslim invasion. It was October 25th, 732.Today, we are in 2012 and the choice is always the same: live free or die.

Our generation refuses to look away in indifference at its people and identity, we will never be the Indians of Europe. Since this symbol of our past and the courage of our ancestors, we call upon the memory and fight!

We do not want more immigration from outside Europe or new constructions of mosques on French soil. Since the first wave of African immigration and family reunification adopted in 1974, our people have never been consulted on the people with whom we needed to live.

Mass immigration is radically transforming our country according to the latest study by INSEE, 43% of 18-50-years-old of Ile de France are immigrants. A people can recover from an economic crisis or a war but not from the replacement of its population by people who are not French, France will cease to exist.

It is a matter of survival, which is why every nation has the absolute right to choose whether to welcome foreigners or not and how many.

Since this right was refused and our generation is paying a high price in the street confronted by an intimidating mob, we say: enough is enough, no more backwards!

We call for the establishment of a national referendum on immigration and the construction of Muslim places of worship in France. We will not leave the premises until we have been heard and addressed.

Be aware that our fight has just begun, we urge all young Europeans to become heirs of their destinies and join the vanguard of youth standing.
