9 charged over child exploitation in UK town where abuse sparked national soul-searching

LONDON - British police say that nine more men have been charged with child sex-related offences in the northern England town of Rochdale, where the discovery of a network of Asian Muslim child abusers led to a bout of national soul-searching earlier this year.
Few details beyond the men's names and ages were immediately available Tuesday, so it was not clear whether they were connected to members of the sex ring who were sentenced in May.
