Nobel Prize to the EU: Turkish Reaction "this Union commits crimes against humanity"

Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan claims the EU deserves the prize for most hypocritical union of all time, rather than the Nobel Pease Prize. Days after the Nobel Peace Prize this year went to the European Union,Turkey's economy minister has slammed the decision, calling the bloc "the most hypocritical union of all time".

"EU is the most hypocritical union of all time and the most hypocritical association in the world. And this hypocrite has had Turkey wait at its door for 50 years," Caglayan fumed, speaking at the Elita Oil Factory's opening ceremony in the southern province of Adana. (continue reading...)
