Live Export Abuse: Sheep found alive in Pakistan after being buried alive

A sheep in Pakistan, buried alive in a culling of some 20,000 sheep in the country, was found still breathing after the incident that shocked Australia and much of the world.

In the latest images of cruelty and animal abuse as a direct result of live export, Four Corners revealed that the sheep had survived the Pakistani government’s attempts to bury the animals alive.

"His fleece matted with blood and dirt — a reminder of the brutal mass slaughter he had lived through the night before,” Animals Australia said in a press release on the horror. (continue reading...)
