Video: Islam is NOT a Race

MartinJWillett 5 March 2010

Islam is not a race. Exposing the dangers of Islam has nothing to do with racism. Muslims use the accusation of racism against us because they know it is an allegation that stings.

Jihad: The Political Third Rail -- At CPAC

American Thinker 17 February 2010
By Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer

The jihad against America is more active and assertive than ever -- and hardly anyone is talking about it.

It is time to take action.

Over one-third of the attempted and successful jihad attacks on American soil since 9/11 took place in 2009. This sharp uptick comes at a time when conservative organizations and media figures are talking about jihad and its root causes in Islamic texts and teachings less frequently and less honestly than at any time since 9/11.

At the same time, there is a global initiative at the U.N. and elsewhere to muzzle critics of Islam, criminalizing even honest discussion of the Islamic doctrines that terrorists use to justify jihad violence and Islamic supremacism.

The Anachronism of Apostasy

American Thinker 16 February 2010
By Amil Imani

Whereas the practice of slavery enslaves the body, the dogma of apostasy ensnares the mind. Whereas slavery is a shameful practice of the past, some shameless religionists still use the doctrine of apostasy to intimidate and severely punish people who elect to choose their own belief.

Islam is extremely possessive of its subjects. It is a religion that admits anyone into its fold by the person simply uttering a one-sentence statement of faith, shahada:

Muslims Confront Islamism, Get Targeted by Islamists

Right Side News 15 February 2010
By David J. Rusin

French imam Hassen Chalghoumi recently learned firsthand that Islamists despise non-Islamist Muslims as much as they do anyone else.

Chalghoumi attracted their ire by coming out strongly in favor of a ban on face-covering veils, a prohibition that is moving closer to reality. Echoing President Nicolas Sarkozy, he described the niqab as a "prison for women, a tool of sexist domination and Islamist indoctrination" that "has no place in France."

Geert Wilders vs. The Multicultural Inquisit

Brussels Journal 3 February 2010
By Fjordman

Some observers have compared the ongoing trial against the prominent Dutch Islam-critic Geert Wilders in the Netherlands to the case against Galileo Galilei in seventeenth century Italy.

There is no question that the trial against Galileo represents a dark chapter in the history of the Roman Catholic Church, but there are some popular misconceptions regarding it.

What exactly "Reforming Islam" means remains open - What We Mean When We Talk About Reforming Islam

Canada Free Press 21 December 2009
By Daniel Greenfield

There is of course a great deal of talk about reforming Islam these days, and just about anyone from Tariq Ramadan to the Saudi King, to people who actually see what is wrong with Islam and want to reform it, can legitimately claim the title of the reformer of Islam.

But that is because the question of what exactly "Reforming Islam” means remains open. To begin with "Reforming Islam” means one thing to Western audiences and another thing entirely to Muslims. To Westerners "Reforming Islam” means bringing it into compliance with civilized norms of conduct. To Muslims it means stripping away the corruption of later eras and returning it to the pure Islam of Mohammed.

How To Reform Islam

Right Side News 10 December 2009
By Sultan Knish

There is no discussing Islam without discussing the Moderate Muslim. Like the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus, the Moderate Muslim is often a topic of conversation, but rarely has much to say about himself. And even those who note that the Moderate Muslim is somewhat less in evidence than the Dodo or the Mammoth, turn instead to the project of reforming Islam.

Is Islam a religion of peace?

Persecution.org 7 December 2009
By Jeff Morton

Islam (i2ministries) – This is an interesting proposition. What would make Islam a religion of peace? – acts of peace and commandments from Allah that there be peace, I suppose.

How many acts or revelations would be required for Islam to be proclaimed peaceful? One? 100? Does the religion promote freedom of choice? We might define peace in that way.
