A Statement From Kev Carroll

English Defence League 24 October 2012

During my time of temporary detention for allegedly "conspiring to cause a public nuisance" which has caused me much stress and inconvenience, I have to say a massive thank you to all those proud patriots who have stuck by me and Tommy. Through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad we have continued in our struggle to battle against many enemies, be they violent Islamists, the far left and the very real and very present far right, we continue to battle.

We battle because we really do know what is at stake, it's our children's futures, their children's futures, the battle of equality and civil liberties, it's about pushing back an intolerant and backward ideology that discriminates against non Muslims, an ideology that believes its ok to beat women, murder homosexuals, rape our children, and hate anything about western culture and western values, namely democracy and freedom of speech.

I'm in awe, I can't thank you enough for all of your support!

IV Passion for Freedom London Festival 2012
3-10 NOVEMBER 2012
UNIT24 GALLERY, LONDON
20 Great Guildford St, London SE1 0FD, next to Tate Modern

Passion for Freedom asked artists to respond to these three questions:

1. What is freedom?
2. How easy is it to lose it?
3. How hard is it to get it back?

For the fourth time the annual festival will take place in Unit24 Gallery in London’s South Bank. Artists from 30 countries around the world have entered their work into the competition this year. During the festival we can see the works of 36 artists from countries spanning the globe including Cuba, Pakistan, China, Poland, Afghanistan, UK, Italy and USA.

‘Artists using mediums such as video, installation, painting and sculpture openly debate issues that are usually swept under the carpet.’ It is important to remember that our society takes freedom for granted. Being interested in ‘the next big thing’ we forget that what we have was fought for and has to be protected.’ - says Agnieszka Kolek, KM Curator.

Muslim Brotherhood:Jerusalem Will Be Regained Only Through Jihad, Not Through Negotiations

Right Side News 18 October 2012

Muslim Brotherhood General Guide Muhammad Badi:

In his October 11, 2012 Friday sermon, posted on the website of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), the movement's General Guide, Muhammad Badi', focused on the topic of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He stated that the Muslims, rather than the Jews or Christians, are the sons of Abraham, and that "the world will not know happiness, security and stability until it is under the guardianship of Islamic shari'a." He went on to say that the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is just as valuable to the Muslims as the Ka'ba in Mecca, and that Jerusalem is Muslim land. Hence, nobody has the authority to give up any part it, and every Muslim is obliged to wage jihad in order to restore it to Muslim rule.
